Are you considering making positive changes in your life with hypnotherapy? Just the sense of control that comes from learning techniques to manage stress can bring positive effects in many aspects of one's life. Although all healers, doctors and therapists work toward positive change for their clients and patients, hypnotherapy is uniquely empowering. Ultimately all hypnosis is self-hypnosis, and hypnotherapy is a self-help technique, enabling one to take control of one's life at a deeper level. Encouraging cooperation among all levels of consciousness and body, it offers strategies for taking charge of one's life with harmony and balance. Stress abounds these days. Managing stress and its many and varied effects is important for physical and mental health. Good hypnotherapists teach lifelong skills for stress management and conscious relaxation. My office / art studio, in the historic old Masonic Temple building near the Courthouse Square, has been my business home for the nearly seven years. Occasionally I make trips back to upstate New York where I see clients I have worked with for as many as seventeen years, as well as some new faces. Some of the people who work with me seek a quick fix for a particular issue, perhaps to end a phobia, anxiety attacks or smoking. Often a single session settles things of this nature enough to make clients more comfortable with the way they function in life. A single session also provides tools they may use for stress management and self-change from then on. Other people are more concerned with self-discovery and self-development, with building and maintaining a balance of mind, body and spirit. Some are working on longer-term goals, like fertility, healing from old trauma or childhood wounds, sobriety, and spiritual understanding or deepening. These are the folks that benefit from working long term with mind-body techniques. Some of my long-distance clients continue on a regular basis over the phone, while some wait for my occasional trips. Occasionally someone from "away" will schedule a session during a trip to Arizona. Seeing these distant folks in person when I have the chance is always a joy. Witnessing someone have a life-changing understanding in a single session is also a blessing. One of the greatest sources of satisfaction I have as a therapist is observing the gradual development of inner confidence, strength and peace in someone who is willing to invest in the process. Would mind-body techniques and hypnotherapy work for you? Consider making an appointment for a free initial consultation. This gives you an opportunity to see if you feel comfortable with me and with my art-studio office space, and ask any questions you may have. Take a deep breath… Relax… |
"If ever there could be a testimony to how valuable this work is, it would be to witness the transformation of the quality of life I experience! And not just me -- it goes out in the concentric circles of my family, in tangible, visible changes. I feel so blessed to have had this opportunity to work with you over these years. So, when I am asked why I seem so driven to "the work," I know that once you see and feel the results of applying intention and consciousness to your life -- you don't ever want it to stop! It's a great adventure!" --from M.S., New York "I'll be back, it was great. You are very gifted." --from L.D., Arizona "I very much enjoyed my hypnosis session with you and found it a very useful tool to help bring some issues together and add some focus to what I have been working on." --from Dr. A.F., New York |
